Wannabe writers are full of excuses as to why they aren’t writing yet. Many of these excuses can be changed to proactive statements with a mere switch in attitude and perspective.

We’ve all downloaded some mediocre podcast that doesn’t warrant more than 30 seconds with our ears. If you want to create a successful line of podcasts, you need absolute rule over your content. That means picking a niche that you can rock without a doubt. Choose content you are utterly passionate about and allows you to bring something totally unique to the table.

Dress the guest of honor in a Lion or Dragon Costume. They’re durable, made of easy-to-wash polyester, and come with skid-resistant soles. Those bottom snaps make them great for emergencies, too. The hood will keep your baby’s head nice and warm.

Your blog. Most of the high traffic websites have a blog installed. If you don’t I suggest you install Word Press and use one of the many excellent Thrive Themes they offer.

I’ve been building blogs for people for several months, and I’ve put as much as a $1,000 in a single month in my account, and all for no more than 10-15 hours of work.

Have an Oldies but Goodies party. Teens like to dress up and what’s more fun that a poodle skirt or a greaser outfit? The 1950’s or the 60’s were fun filled days and the clothes of these eras make for some great homemade costume ideas that are fairly easy to put together. The music is also quite easy to find and play at your party. Pick the soundtrack from Grease or choose the King himself, Elvis Presley if the 50’s are your favorite. Like something a little funkier? Then I guess its 1960’s party ideas for you. Get the Woodstock soundtrack for some fun music sounds. Bell bottom pants and a tie dyed T shirt will work and so will a mini skirt, an afro wig and some big glasses. Bangle jewelry and head scarves finish the look. For the 50’s poodle skirts and bowling shirts should do the trick.

Survivor party ideas are very popular with teenagers and tweens. Have the kids compete in survivor like game competitions and challenges. Have them build a tent out of the materials you supply. Then have them Hurricane test it. Have the opposing tribe throw buckets of water on the tent to see if it can stand up to Tropical storm or hurricane strength winds and water. Have them try to fill a bottle with water using a homemade relay system. Have them make their own system out of coconut shells.

There is no rule that states you cannot combine two parties in this way. The best part about mixing a Halloween and baby shower is that it is a party that few in attendance forget any time soon. Use a combination of baby and Halloween colors, themes and games for a great day for the mom to be.
